This week we read a short story about Amelia Earhart to celebrate International Women's Day.
She was born in 1897 in the USA and she was a pilot. Amelia broke several records and she helped to from the Ninety-Nines, an international organization for the advancement of female pilots. She also fought for women's right. She disappeared in 1937 in the Pacific Ocean when she was trying to be the first circumnavigation of the world by a woman in an aeroplane.
As you already know, we did a project about BIKE SAFETY. We checked and learned different aspects of safety when it comes to riding a bike. We saw that we need to keep in mind three groups:
1) The bike: We have to check it before going riding.
2)Surroundings: We have to check traffic signs, roads...
3)Bike rider: We need to wear the right clothes and a helmet.
Finally, we recorded some videos to give some advice.
We worked really hard! We hope you like these videos!
